Born in Bedfordshire, England, Kimshelley Lessard grew up in Detroit, Michigan, from the age of 10.
Having equal passion for both music and acting, Kimshelley is an opera-trained singer and began performing in high school plays where she was cast in productions such as "Pirates of Penzance" (Mabel) and "Anything Goes" (Hope). From there, Kimshelley obtained her Bachelors degree in Musical Theatre (with a Dance minor) from Oakland University, MI, where she continued to gain experience and attention performing in "The Secret Garden" (Lily), "A Chorus Line" (Christine), and "Black Comedy" (Carol). After graduation, Kimshelley started her professional acting career at Meadow Brook Theatre (Regional Equity House) in "A Christmas Carol" (Caroler/Belle)," Tin Types" (Anna/Emma-understudy) and "The Rocky Horror Show" (Janet- understudy).
Moving on to New York City, Kimshelley studied with master Meisner teacher, Larry Silverberg, and was cast in the original off-Broadway productions of "Notes" (Southern Girl) and "Charles and Diana-The Musical" (Diana). It was at this time she became a member of SAG and AFTRA. In 2002, Kimshelley moved to Los Angeles where she has been featured in "Charley's Aunt" (Amy), "Kiss of a Spider Woman" (Molina's Mother), starred in her own production of "Vampire Lesbians of Sodom" (Succubus) and has had roles in TV and film, including "THE TELLING" (Sarah), a camp horror gem which was produced in conjunction with the hit reality series: THE GIRLS NEXT DOOR.
Kimshelley currently resides in Los Angeles with her beloved husband, Joe, and her 5 spoiled kitties. She is currently finishing a master's degree in Psychology.
